Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-12-19T01:25Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-12-19T01:25:00-CME-001 (version 1)

Note: CME first seen to the NE is SOHO LASCO C2 starting at 2024-12-19T01:25Z. Also seen to the NE in SOHO LASCO C3 and STEREO A COR2. This CME is very faint in STEREO A COR2 imagery. The source of this CME is likely a large rising loop of field lines seen from beyond the NE limb in GOES SUVI 284, first noticeable starting at 2024-12-19T00:39Z. There is some minor influence seen in the NE quadrant of the Earth-facing disk, but this eruption appears much more likely to be far-sided. A far-sided source is also consistent with measurements.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
